Email and Windows Message from ThinManager

Did you know you can email and Windows message from ThinManager when unexpected events occur like if a ThinManager Server stops or a Terminal is rebooted? Here's how:

Click on Edit and Modify while at the ThinManager server.

Through the wizard, you'll be met with the Event Selection page. Here, you'll specify which events warrant notification.

Each can be sent out via email or Microsoft Messenger. The following page sets up the SMTP server, email addresses, and terminals to Windows message.

One thing to note is the SMTP server specified in ThinManager doesn't include username and passwords so a proxy email server must be created on the network.
